Prefects
At Cheadle Primary, our Prefects are valued members of the school community who help set a positive example for others. Prefects support day-to-day routines around the school, encourage good behaviour, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for pupils and visitors. Being a Prefect is an opportunity for children to develop responsibility, confidence, and leadership skills in a way that reflects our school’s RESPECT values.
We carefully select Prefects based on their character, attitude, and willingness to support others. Parents can help by encouraging their child to show kindness, follow school expectations, and take pride in representing Cheadle Primary. Prefect roles are designed to be achievable and meaningful for primary-aged children, with guidance from staff to ensure pupils feel supported as they take on these responsibilities.
