Digital Leaders
At Cheadle Primary, we believe digital leadership starts with confidence, curiosity, and kindness. Our approach helps parents and carers support children to use technology safely and responsibly at home and in school. We focus on practical skills, clear boundaries, and positive habits that build a strong foundation for learning.
Digital leaders learn how to think before they click, recognise trustworthy information, and understand how online choices can affect others. Through age-appropriate activities, childrenpractise communication, collaboration, and problem-solving using digital tools. We also teach the importance of privacy, respectful behaviour, and reporting concerns—so pupils know what to do if something feels wrong.
For parents, partnership is key. We provide guidance on screen time, online safety, and how to talk with children about what they see and do online. Together, we can encourage children to become thoughtful digital citizens who use technology to learn, create, and connect—now and in the future.
